Evangelization began with two aims:
For equipping the Christian Community with the apt and adequate knowledge
of their own religion.
To Promote Gospel Realities among the non Christians.
For over 70 years this periodical
has been fulfilling these aims of the founders in a great way.
In
the year 1947 Joseph Cardinal Parecatil took charge as the Editor par
excellence of Sathyadeepam, from which time
this Light of Truth shone with greater splendor
and glory
